The rise of the digital nomad: what does it mean, and how does it work?

The versatility of workspaces grows larger still with technological innovation; new technological advancements regarding wireless internet means that even the most remote of explorers can perform their online work with a couple of common devices- dongle anyone?

Of course, it isn’t just an endless holiday- it can be a tough lifestyle. Irregular work, poor budgeting, and lack of structure are some of the most common hurdles faced, especially when transitioning into the lifestyle, and so to dive into this way of life takes careful consideration. But the payoffs are worth it. No commuting, no dingy offices, no oppressive dress code, a flexible schedule to balance work and play, motivation to fund your adventurer’s lifestyle, and the constant inspiration new cultures and challenges can offer you.
